The Barnes Foundation is a wonderful environment to explore a variety of subjects, including art,
humanities, mathematics, history, and science. Our diverse collection includes early French Modern
and Post-Impressionist paintings, African Sculpture, and Native-American pottery, as well as
many other works from a variety of cultures and time-periods.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, under Act 48, requires all Pennsylvania educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification to participate in ongoing professional education. The Barnes Foundation is an Act 48 Approved Provider.
Our 28-week courses may be taken for Act 48 credit hours.
Additional short-term workshops are available in the spring and summer.
