About the Class

Join us for a journey through the vibrant world of artists’ palettes. In this course, we will consider how evolving materials and color theories shaped European painting over the past 400 years. Taught by a practicing artist, the class will spotlight works in the Barnes collection and offer insights into the lives of the artists and their color choices during different historical periods. In demonstrations, the instructor will showcase practical applications and techniques that bring these colors to life.

The class is online-only. More about online classes.
