Located on the lower level at the Barnes, Honickman Library is home to more than 9,000 books, periodicals, databases, and other resources on art history—especially 19th- and 20th-century artistic movements—art education, visual literacy, philosophy, psychology, and art conservation.

Access digital copies of Barnes Foundation publications written by Dr. Barnes or within his lifetime can be accessed via the Honickman Library’s Internet Archive page. The Journal of the Art Department (1970–78), Vistas (1979–91), and the Newsletter of the Arboretum of the Barnes Foundation (1968–79) are also available on this site.
