Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer.
Don’t miss the premiere of Memory Futures: Desi Transcendence, a collaboration between Usiloquy Dance Designs and Grammy-nominated composer Rini Raghavan. This interdisciplinary performance blends Indian classical dance traditions with contemporary dance and music. Raghavan’s compositions merge the intricate rhythms of Southern Indian Carnatic music with the soulful expressions of jazz. Memory Futures vividly reflects the rich tapestry of diverse contemporary narratives that characterize the South Asian community.
First Friday at the Barnes includes access to the collection and Cecily Brown: Themes and Variations.
The performance runs from 6:30 to 8pm.
Seating is limited. Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase.
