About the Tour
Members are exclusively invited to tour the collection after hours. Perched atop a hill just north of Paris’s city center, Montmartre was known for its bohemian culture, revolutionary politics, and raucous cafés and cabarets. For writers, musicians, and artists, Montmartre became a cauldron of artistic experimentation and discovery. In this tour, you’ll learn about the remarkable group of progressive artists who made Montmartre their home: Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Amedeo Modigliani, Maurice Utrillo, and more.
