About the Tour
This exclusive online tour will explore Montmartre and the artists who made it their home. Perched atop a hill just north of Paris’s city center, Montmartre was known for its bohemian culture, revolutionary politics, and raucous cafés and cabarets. For writers, musicians, and artists, Montmartre became a kind of cauldron of artistic experimentation and discovery. Join us to learn more about this remarkable group of progressive artists: Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Amedeo Modigliani, Maurice Utrillo, and more.
Registrants will be emailed a link for the talk the day prior.
