About the Event

Please note: The Annenberg Court is closed in February, and all programming will take place on the lower level. Storytime and film screenings are in the Comcast NBCUniversal Auditorium, and guests can pick up art activity kits to take home. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes. First Sunday at the Barnes is a little different this February! Join us on the lower level for interactive storytime sessions, family-friendly films, and access to our collection galleries. Plus, pick up a free art activity kit to enjoy at home. Check back soon for more information and a list of films.

Pick up a take-home art activity kit, complete with materials and bilingual (English/Spanish) directions. Learn more about artworks in our collection and see what surprises are in store for you! Perfect for the whole family—ages 2 and up.

Storytime

Join us in the Comcast Auditorium for an interactive storytime with children’s book author Alyssa Reynoso-Morris. Alyssa is an experienced multicultural and bilingual author, speaker, and storyteller. Catch a live reading of her critically acclaimed books today! Perfect for ages 2 and up.

Film Screenings in Comcast Auditorium

This month, we are thrilled to partner with the Philly film club El Conejo en el Faro to present “Tras la ventana de plata” (Through the Silver Window), a curated collection of shorts and a feature-length film from talented directors in Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay. We hope you and your family will enjoy this delightful showcase of Latin American cinema. All films will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.
