About the Tour
Reclaiming the heroic gestural expression associated with male artists of the abstract expressionist generation, Cecily Brown creates lush, dynamic paintings that often contain erotic content. This private one-hour tour explores Brown’s practice and engagement with art history and considers her work from a feminist perspective.
Private tours are available Thursdays at 10am, 11am, and 3pm, and Friday–Monday at 10am, 11am, and 2pm. Reservations are required, and tours must be requested at least four days in advance. To learn more or to reserve a tour, call 215.278.7200.
